LIVING GREEN

 

Green homes that are good for the environment while saving home owners money are in demand!

 

People are more concerned than ever about gas prices, fitness, quality of life, and the enviroment. Those concerns are creating a demand toward "walkable green developments" and the Berkshires are poised to lead this charge. With its mix of hip urban cities and quaint historic villages, the Berkshires offers numerous housing options that promote a live, work, and play lifestyle focusing on a positive enviromental impact and helping to create a sustainable future to be shared for generations to come.  

 

Over the next year I will be responding to this trend by showcasing green homes and features on my website, whenever possible, and earning my Green Designation through the National Association of Realtors. 

 

As the demands of home buyers and sellers change, I pledge to continue to learn as much as I can about green homes and communities, and will increasingly adopt new tools to help homebuyers find green homes and green neighborhoods. And, I will help Sellers adapt to this trend by sharing ways they can "green up" their existing home and prepare it for sale.
